While making a short walk in Kevo National Park I got a shot of one of my favorite birds.

Here is a willow warbler in the middle of a willow!

Common Scoter (melanitta nigra)

Common scoters were resting at lake Inari in front of our cottage.  It was a very windy day and the birds were quite far.

Hide on a swamp to photograph courtship ritual of black grouses

Black grouses do not care about the hide.

This lonely ruff was watching the hide  house in Oanmäki bird basin.

Eurasian curlew (numenius arquata)

There were many other birds than black grouses on the swamp like gulls and lapwings.  For me in the hide a curlew made a nice presentation against the rising sun.

I was hesitating  to go or not to go because it was raining.  I decided to go and got some very nice pics in Otanmäki bird basin.
